PET RECYCLING

Published by

Many years ago my son and I did online ecommerce in the field of Recycling. It was popular then and according to the life cycle of some of those articles from 10 years ago it is still a good idea. OK I admit it is a stretch to call Rescue animals Pet Recycling. Even though it is a stretch it is still a great idea.

My Sister-in-Law and my UDDER BRUDDER have been a Foster Home in Coastal South Carolina for many pets over the past several years. I Love walking into the front door to a new dog and/or cat friend or two or three each time I go to visit. They take seriously the concept that pets deserve to be rescued and cared for not euthanized.

You may ask what does this have to do with being a Caring Grandparent? Fair question. The answer is that most Grandparents I know are continuously on the look out for meaningful ways to connect with their Grandkids. What better way than asking them to learn, along with you about Rescue Animals. The teaching moments abound and not only will you and your Grands learn what goes on, it will provide an ongoing chance for you to do some meaningful things with them.

Hold your fire! I am not suggesting your open a group Foster Home for Pets, as noble as that would be. I am suggesting that in the process of learning about this community of extraordinary folks that are preforming a wonderful service you and the Grandchildren will have your eyes open to a plethora of information that will be valuable to all about things like the responsibility of pet ownership, kindness, meaningful volunteerism, etc.
