I in an attempt to stay in touch with my family I have been writing what I call the family newsletter almost every Sunday morning for over 3 years now. Remarkably that email string now includes some 60 folks, mostly family but we adopt many others into our family. I have been pleased to hear my grandchildren, nieces and nephews, etc. mention things I write about in this weekly rambling.
This vehicle allows me to spread affirmations, birthdays, news and what I call my “Nuggets of Wisdom" like:
'LOVE IS AN ANTIDOTE FOR FEAR'
'Good morning Lovable and Loving Folks'
“What is your moral code in relation to right and wrong?”
“Everything that defends, protects and serves life – God’s major gift – is positive. Everything that offends against, oppresses and excludes life is negative. LOVE is RIGHT! The absence of Love is WRONG!”
This comes from a man named Frei Betto; a Brazilian theological Unifier (Love that title) in response to the question “What is your moral code in relation to right and wrong?”
As a Caring Grandparent this is the kind of message that I want to offer to my grandchildren, family and any of you that read this.
