One of the most often sought Grandparents Rights is the ability to have visits with their grandchildren. The Covid 19 pandemic is a real game changer when it comes to visits. I guess all we have left is to get really creative as to how to communicate and stay in touch with each of our grandkids.
One of the things I learned in participating and teaching Dale Carnegie principles is to practice one of the six ways to make people like you “Talk in terms of the other persons interest”. This means meeting them where they are. Not just Facebook, but Instagram, Pintrest, etc.
This is where the creative part is most important. Each social media platform has its own set of best practices. I don’t plan to become a master of each platform. My suggestion is that you ask each grandchild how to go about it. Asking for someone’s help is a magical way to connect.
Thank You for being a Caring Grandparent

This is so true. Whenever I have a tech question, I always ask my children for help. My 11-year-old usually has the answers I am looking for 🙂 .
