With all this time on our hands it may be a good time to make our game plan to insure our Grandparents Rights. I believe I have been clear that the is no single approach to Grandparents Rights. Just as families are complicated so is the interaction of various family dynamics thrown into the pot and stirred by Life.
There are things we can do to improve our chances that Grandparents Rights are natural and not imposed. Thanks to people like Michigan attorney Richard S. Victor there has been progress on the legal side but my money is on creating the best atmosphere for peaceful relations with the parents of our grands. Now let me crystal clear, It ain’t easy and it probably doesn’t seem fair but it is definitely worth it.
There are almost 300 posts on this site explaining how to go about this process. All I can say is that if you keep “the best interest of your Grandchildren” top of mind, the journey will be a bit easier.
